My sister and I went here for an impromptu dinner, boy were we sorry! We ordered appetizers and entrees and all of the dishes were disgusting. I had order some type of tomato soup which tasted as if it came out of a can with a piece of soggy bread tossed into it. The waiter (bless his heart) couldn't understand why we were in such a rush to leave!
Bottom Line: They should close down and reassess their menu and cooks.

Stopped by on Friday night for dinner at 8:00PM with no reservation and didn't have to wait. Now I know why. When we reached the table a filthy insect - r***** was crawling all over the the table and place settings. The hostess sat the menu down and tried to cover it up and when I acknowledged the extra guest she lifted the menu to lead us to another table. I headed to the door.

The decor was nice, the food was awful, the service was awful. People come in off the street to use the restroom........... Just a horrible experience on Valentine's Day!

In November of 2008, my niece and I held a surprise b'day party for my Mom at Revival . the food, staff and atmosphere was above all that we expected. The food was continuously replenished and my mother's friends, coworkers, and church members are still giving us compliments. Though we sent an email raving on how wonderful everything went, it is an honor to rate Revival in a place where it will be of most benefit. Their brunches are wonderful, the atmosphere is wonderful, the staff is wonderful and we look forward to returning.

My husband and I visit many restaurants and Revival is on the top of the list. This is my first time writing a review and thanks to the hostess/waitress, Julisha, who made our visit there quite enjoyable. Julisha's welcome and conversation made us aware of how glad we are that Revival is stationed in the heart of Harlem. She is A#1 in our book because she knows the art of serving people. My husband and I are in Ministry and serving others makes the difference in life. Thank you Julisha. In addition the ambiance and decor has such a warm and relaxing feel. My favorite entree is the Ravioli dish which is seasoned to perfection; my husband loves the Lamb. I recommend that all frequent this restaurant and experience Harlem's restauant that makes one made alive (Revival). Thanks to you all, From Rev and Rev's Wife.
