You won't find a better education in Houston, except maybe for Rice University. My time here totally prepared me for both undergrad and law school. The teachers actually care about the students, and if you've ever driven by it, you can see that the facilities rival that of most private colleges. Save your money now, because your children will thank you later.

Cypress Creek High School is located in the Cypress Fairbanks Independent school district. Cypress Creek is one of the oldest high schools in the district. I taught there for 8 years and highly reccomend the school. They have friendly students and are very considerate community. My kids attended the school and I have no regrets whatsoever.

Good school

This is an HISD school located in the heart of luxurious River Oaks. The school has been there for a very long time and severa famous people have gone to Lamar. Lamar has also been the set for several movies. The staff is very nice and educated, they try to go the extra mile. I was very happy with them.

Labay is a fairly old school, but it has earned a reputation of academic and extracurricular excellence. The school is only three time Blue Ribbon school in Texas and has really good chroal, theatre and music programs. In the past few years, however, the zoning boundaries for the school have changed and some would say that caliber of the school has dropped a bit

Cypress Falls High School is located in the Cypress Fairbanks ISD. They are easily accessible off of US 290 and Huffmeister. Cy-Falls has been in the district since the early 90's . I would highly recommend the school for its location and surronding community.

Best School in West Houston!

This is a wonderful school. My children are receiving an excellent education in a caring and nurturing environment. I feel blessed to have my children at this school

Amazing Amazing school!!!

Amazing Amazing school!!! They treat my daughter as their own and I dont think I would have been able to instill such good discipline and such great manners. She has been reading since 3.5 and now at 5 she reads as fluently as a 2nd grader. I cannt thank Lakewood enough!! What a great school....

If you live in the area, this high school is an excellent option for you. They have strong academics for a public school, and more money than other area public schools, which means better technology, teachers, etc. Most of the students come from wealthy families and public middle schools, though some come from private schools in the area.

Great infant - K School...

Wonderful school for infants through preschool. Teachers are excellent and administration helpful. Curriculum is great. Spanish and French starting with infants. Children are reading at 4 years old. Campus is spacious with ducks and rabbits roaming the grounds. Does share a propery with a Charter school but little interaction. Students do wear uniforms starting at 12mo. which can get...

Cook Middle School is in the Cypress Fairbanks Independent School district. Cook Middle has a very good reputation. There has been some complaints in the recent years about the principal that is there... but have heard he will be leaving soon.

Roberts Elemetarty school located in the Rice Village area does everything to help the students. They have wonderful teachers and a good team of volunteers to help out the kids and are very systematic and decicated to their job. They do try make kids participate in all activites and involve partents in the routine work creating lasting bonds between the kids and the parents. Would recommend...

Great School by First Baptist Academy H. at InsiderPages

I put 3 children through First Baptist Academy. First Baptist Academy has a great curriculum in a nurturing environment. First Baptist Academy did a wonderful job preparing my children for High School. My oldest is now a Petroleum Engineer, my second child is attending Baylor University, and my third is a senior in High School. I would highly recommend this school.
